I love my fleece flippers, I only wish I could afford another set! I only have 2 issues with the Uhaul liners.

The 1st is probably my fault, they shrunk a bit, so the edges aren't as absorbent as I would like.

2nd, I wish they where sewn like the cases. Because they aren't I some times have issues with the edges bunching and it's generally time consuming to straighten it. I've figured out a way to avoid this problem, I use extra coroplast inserts on the outside of the uhaul liners (like a sandwich) when I put the fleece cases on, and then pull the 2 extra coroplast inserts out.

I just received my flippers, having been using loose fleece and Uhaul pads with binder clips, and I'm very happy with them. The stitching is perfect and the coroplast inserts were cut to fit exactly into the Midwest cage.

I say "nearly" perfect, because I found the Uhaul pad layers to be too large, even after washing and drying them twice on the hottest settings I could. They did shrink, but not very much, so at first the flippers were too bulky. It was a very easy fix, though, I just grabbed my fabric scissors, trimmed the pads down, and voila! They go right into the cage bottom (I swapped out the canvas for a coroplast tray, which I also got from here) for an even fit - tight enough that they stay in place but not so tight it's a hassle to get them back out.

Thus far it's been MUCH easier to do the daily cage cleaning - I use a small shop vac and I no longer have to fight with it sucking up the fleece liner.

EDITOR'S COMMENT:

Thank you for the review. We actually do not recommend anyone else cutting the liners. We really do make these for the longer "haul" so to speak. :) They are going to continue to shrink and thin. But, they are also relatively inexpensive, so as is the beauty of Fleece Flippers, you can change out components without having to replace the entire liner.
