Cavy Cave

I have 3 rescue guinea pigs and these have helped me pick them up so I can get their nails trimmed and such. I love the boning in them so they stay open. The only thing I wish they had was a potty lining in it so if the piggies pee, it won't soak through right away. Unfortunately, my lap has taken the brunt of some scared piggy pee. I still love these though! Great quality and definitely worth it!

Only occasionally do any of my guinea pigs go inside this hidey. They do enjoy sitting on top of it.

However, as a pig transport method, I've found it essential. Since this roomy fleece cozy arrived I have never had to catch a pig with my hands. With it I can easily and safely catch all four pigs in a couple of minutes to move them to a playpen. It's also a handy way to keep them on the scale while I weigh them.

Often they will run into the pocket of their own accord. If not, I just give them a nudge or scoop them up. It is much less stressful for them than being grabbed. Unlike a basket or bin, I can hold the top shut to prevent jumps and it is easy to maneuver inside a C&C cage.

It is also provides a nice way to hold a shy pig on your lap.

Everyone with pigs should probably have one or two of these, particularly if their little buddies are kept up on a table and need a secure ride down to the floor.

My cavy loves to hang out in his cavy cave! He sleeps inside of it most of the time and underneath it sometimes. I am back to get two more so that he will always have a clean one when one or two are in the laundry.

My piggies LOVE these. I bought one at first to see if they liked it and they loved it so I bought a second so they could each have one. Then I bought 2 more so I could switch them out when I do their cage cleanings. These cavy caves are their favorite place to sleep, whether on top or in the bag. Ive also put one in their carrier when I've had to bring a pig to the vet so they would feel safe and cozie. I've had the first set for 2 years now and they are still working fine and look nice! My favorite are the grey, they go with all their fleeces.

Our piggies have a new favorite hiding spot!! They love taking turns being carried around in it too. It's a perfect little place to snuggle up in and I love how it stays open so they can peek out. Another awesome product!!
