    Cage Fit

    • For a 2x3 Grid (SMALL) C&C Cage WITH A CAVY CAFE

The Cavy CAFE kitchen inserts (found on the Guinea Pig Cages Store) are designed to take up a 1x2 grid size. This leaves the 2x2 balance of the cage in need of fleece bedding. The 2x2 Cage Liner covers that area.
    • For a 2x3.5 Grid (MEDIUM) C&C Cage WITH A CAVY BISTRO

The Cavy BISTRO kitchen inserts (found on the Guinea Pig Cages Store) are designed to take up a 1.5x2 grid size. This leaves the 2x2 balance of the cage in need of fleece bedding. The 2x2 Cage Liner covers that area.

    • For a 2x4 Grid (LARGE) C&C Cage WITH A CAVY GRAZER

The Cavy GRAZER kitchen inserts (found on the Guinea Pig Cages Store) are designed to take up a 2x2 grid size. This leaves the 2x2 balance of the cage in need of fleece bedding. The 2x2 Cage Liner covers that area.

The Cavy Cafe, Cavy Bistro and Cavy Grazer Kitchen inserts are intended to hold traditional, disposable litter which works with your guinea pig's natural tendencies to potty in corners and areas where their food and hay are located.

    DOUBLE-LINED INSIDE!

Uhaul pads are proven to be the best material for absorbing guinea pig and small pet urine with the least amount of smell and the best durability over time. 1000s of guinea pigs owners agree. ALL of our Cage Liners come with TWO layers of absorbent lining for MAXIMUM protection for your guinea pigs.

    CUT LARGE for SHRINKAGE

We take pride in making sure our products last over the long haul for you and your piggies. It's a given that ALL fleece and liners shrink a bit over multiple washings. We cut our cage liners a bit large, so that you can enjoy them over time and not just while they are new out of the box! Our liners are not pre-washed and that saves you money on the price.

I use 3 of these at a time in my jumbo 2x6 cage, with three guinea pigs. Having multiple, smaller pieces of fleece makes it a lot easier to clean than fleece liners I’ve tried in the past. I just fold the ends of one piece inward, slide one end into a trash can, then unfold that end and all the poop and stuff slides right out. With this method, regular maintenance cleaning only takes a couple minutes and is easy to do twice a day to keep things looking nice. Plus the squares can be rotated to help deal with heavy traffic spots. Having smaller pieces also makes brushing the hay and fur off easier before washing. It’s just not as bulky to work with. Sometimes waste falls in between the liners but it’s not much a problem. I only needed to wash them once before they started wicking well - they do need an initial wash, though! At first I tried just putting them down as is, and the result was pretty gross.

Coming from using carefresh bedding, the downside is that the fleece needs changed more like every four days instead of once a week like I’d been used to. In heavy traffic areas, the pee has gone through or behind the liner, making the bottom of the cage wet. I’m planning to add an extra smaller layer of fleece in one or two spots in the cage to try and help with this. My fleece also hasn’t shrunk enough so the ends still go up the sides of the cage a bit.

Overall, though, I really like these liners and they are so much nicer than carefresh style bedding. My guinea pigs lounge around more; they just look way more comfortable. The cage also looks so much nicer and is easier to spot clean on a regular basis.

I'm in love with my two boys, and I'm in love with these liners! They are so easy to clean. I tried just towels with fleece on top, and that was a huge pain. These cost a bit more, but they are well worth it. If needed, I can just pick them up and shake outside, or I can sweep them. I like having the two side by side instead of doing a 2x4 because they're easier to maneuver and wash.
