Keep Them Out of Direct Sunlight
Even on mild days, direct sunlight can quickly warm up your guinea pigs' enclosure. Keep cages in a cool, shaded area and avoid placing them in front of sunny windows during the hottest parts of the day.
Make Fresh Water a Priority
Always provide clean, fresh water and check bottles throughout the day to make sure they are working properly. On especially warm days, refill bottles with cool water as needed.
Encourage Good Airflow
Good air circulation can help keep the room more comfortable. A fan can be used elsewhere in the room, but avoid pointing it directly at your guinea pigs.
