I was hesitant to purchase this because I was afraid my piggy wouldn't feel secure since it hangs and doesn't have a solid base. Glad I went ahead and splurged. He hopped right up on it and settled in (it's made well enough that it does give tension to provide a secure feeling when they are in it). It is also worth considering that even if they don't actually get up in the hammock, it provides a nice hidey hole without compromising floor space. He enjoys darting under it as much as jumping up into it.
My pigs love both sitting on top of these and hiding underneath them.
I put seed heads on the hammock and she has to climb up to get and back down. Good exercise for my big gp. I think this would be perfect for baby gps but my girl is big and it's like she's hanging on barely unless she is centered just so. For that reason I think she immediately jumps down when there are no more treats. May I suggest making a larger size for tubby pigs to be better balanced there instead of almost hanging on for dear life.
My hamster is in a Critter Nation cage, and she loves this corner hammock.
I love this i don't have guinea pigs but i have ratties and they love it i can fit 3 rats and 2 guinea pigs would be my guess get quality best hammock ever i got the elephants pattern
