Piggies Need Your Help!
Most guinea pig rescues are just people like you and me who step up to take in unwanted guinea pigs, make sure they are healthy and happy, and get them placed in a great new home. A few rescues are incorporated as 501(c)(3)'s (non-profit), but most are just people doing the best they can with the resources they have. Vet bills, food, bedding, care, marketing all costs money and takes time.
None of us have unlimited funds. Donations are usually hard to come by.
We will MATCH your Donation!
GUINEA PIG MARKET (Jenny and Teresa) will match your donation up to 1% of the order.
For example, if you DONATE $1.50 on a $210 order, then we will match it with $1.50. This gives the rescue a nice $3.00 of CASH!
If you donated $2.50, we would match $2.10, giving the rescue a fantastic $4.60!!
ALL PROCEEDS go to the RESCUE!
Aside from any merchant or bank fees, ALL monies are paid to the rescue once a month on any balance over $25.

We also pay another percentage to rescues when they promote us on their websites, facebook pages & posts or emails. Join our affiliate program! We just want to be reaching as many Cavy Slaves as possible and helping out as much as we can! :)
Yes, just like there are cat and dog and even rabbit rescues, there are also guinea pig rescues around the world.

How to Get Your Rescue Listed
For a rescue to be listed with us, they need to have a Rescue Listing on the Guinea Pig Zone. That is easy and free.
In order to receive donations from you and us, they need to be a known and generally recognized rescue or have at least three references from other rescues, shelters or vets in their area.
How do you decide who is featured each month?
We will rotate through all rescues, giving everyone a chance. While the choices are pretty random, we'll try to pick one from each general area of the country each time (east, midwest, west).
